So here we are again with the breakfast dilemma....pancakes have never been my thing, mostly because you are suppose to eat them with maple syrup which I really dislike. None the less, I had a small carton of buttermilk in the fridge that needed to be used so I thought I would give these a shot also considering that Peter LOVES pancakes.
The dough gets very fluffy and light and the pancakes cook up nicely in a cast iron skillet brushed with a bit of the left over bacon grease. A yummy start to the weekend!
